Here are several student projects that I designed for the Communication Graphics class here at Wilberforce University during the fall of 2009.

I have been the production manager and contributing writer for the Faculty Journal a peer-reviewed magazine in 2008-20009. You can see one the current issue (click here)

During 2008-2009, I have also been the faculty advisor for the student newspaper at Wilberforce University. I did all of the layout and design for each issue while coordinating the student reporters and editors. You can see the online version (click here).

In the summer of 2009, I designed several markers that were placed in historical locations. My work was featured in a front-page article in the Lawrence Journal-World.

During the 1990's I worked as the acting art director for Washington Life and Louisiana Weekly publications. My duties included design, layout, copyediting, article writing, photography, etc.

I taught Web design and desktop publishing course at Butte College for six years. Some of the software that we have covered include: InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, QuarkXPress, etc. I was hired by Butte College's Business Education Department and by the college's Service Learning project to re-design both of their sites.

For several years I have written for Magical Blend and Natural Beauty and Health magazines. I have had the opportunity to interview bestselling authors Dan Millman and Dr. Wayne Dyer, along with writing music and book reviews.

I've worked as a journalist for over ten years. My news and feature articles have been published by The Chicago Sun-Times, St. Petersburg Times, Winston-Salem Journal, New Orleans Times-Picayune along with Louisiana Weekly, Magical Blend, and Washington Life magazines. I've also worked as a reporter for United Press International news service along with several peer-reviewed journals.
